E. Daniel Grady is a man of the people, literally. For most of his career, Grady
has served as a connection point for employee-related issues. As vice president of
administration for Michigan Bell and its parent company, Ameritech, Grady spent more than
13 years handling personnel; labor relations and bargaining; public relations; government
affairs; and corporate services. After leaving Ameritech he became a community affairs consultant
with Metro Detroit’s St. John Health System and was also an associate with Pollock Consultant Group.
For nearly 30 years, Dan Grady has been an executive coach and visiting faculty member at the
Management Development Center of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. In addition, he is
active as a management coach and planning consultant for not-for-profit organizations with the
Detroit Executive Service Corps.
Currently the principal of his own executive coaching firm, Outcome Management Consultants, Dan
Grady serves JustUs® as Chair of its Advisory Board.
E. Daniel Grady serves the Detroit community as Trustee Emeritus of the University of Detroit Mercy,
Madonna University, and the University of Detroit High School and Academy. He is a current and founding
trustee of Loyola High School of Detroit and the Jesuit 100 Association at UDM as well as being a founding
member of the Development Council of the IHM Sisters.
Grady holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of Detroit Mercy and has
completed AT&T advanced management courses at Northwestern University and at the University of Illinois.
